7th Grade Math: Students took their quiz today on 1.5-1.6. They will have another quiz on Wednesday before their test on Thursday. Today, students had a chance to ask questions about anything in chapter one.

Homework: Look over ch. 1 and come in with any questions you may have. There will be a quiz on 1.7 on Wednesday and the chapter 1 test will be on Thursday.

Algebra: Today, students learned how to store variables and recall equations on their graphing calculators. The homework for today is review material over chapter 1.

Homework: Page 63 #1-25 all. Look over ch. 1 and come in with any questions you may have. The quiz on 1.8-1.9 is tomorrow (9/20). The ch. 1 test will be on Thursday.

7X & 7Y Science: We started presentations today. Students took notes during other groups' presentations. We will continue the presentations tomorrow. I have decided to change the date of the test because I do not think students will be ready for it by Friday.

Homework: The science test will be on MONDAY (9/26) instead of this Friday.

8A & 8B Science: We went over the quiz on the Big Bang/creationism/intelligent design. It was worth 14 points. We had the group presentations and I went through the highlights of 1.2 to review.

Homework: The ch. 1 test is on Thursday. It will cover chapter one, the notes taken in class about famous scientists and the Big Bang/creationism/intelligent design. For tomorrow, students should write 10 review questions and answers.
